- Gem. UN-GTR.21 ermittelte Maximalleistung von der bis zu 25kW auf Overboost entfallen, der für max. 30 Sek. abgerufen werden kann. Die in der individuellen Fahrsituation zur Verfügung stehende Leistung ist abhängig von variablen Faktoren wie z. B. Außentemperatur, Temperatur-, Lade-und Konditionierungszustand oder physikalischer Alterung der Hochvoltbatterie. Die Verfügbarkeit der Maximalleistung (Overboost) erfordert insbesondere eine Temperatur der Hochvoltbatterie zw. 23-50°C und einen Batterieladezustand > 88%. Abweichungen insbesondere von vorgenannten Parametern können zu einer Reduzierung der Leistung bis hin zur Nichtverfügbarkeit des Overboost führen. Die Batterietemperatur ist in gewissem Umfang über die Funktion Standklimatisierung mittelbar beeinflussbar und der Ladezustand u. a. im Fahrzeug einstellbar. Die aktuell zur Verfügung stehende Leistung wird im Powermeter Display des Fahrzeugs angezeigt. Um die nutzbare Kapazität der Hochvoltbatterie bestmöglich zu erhalten, empfiehlt sich für die tägliche Nutzung ein Ladeziel von 80% für die Batterie einzustellen (vor z.B. Langstreckenfahrten auf 100% umstellbar).
